Who We Are
Founded by Mikey — a competitive surfer and coach based in Lima, Peru — Surf Schematics was created for surfers who want to develop their surfing with more intention.
Whether the goal is improving technique, making better decisions in the water, building confidence, or taking your surfing to a higher level, the process starts by understanding where you are now and where you want to go.
The Mikey Method
Our coaching methodology combines video analysis, structured progression, in-water coaching, and direct feedback.
We use footage to study the details that are difficult to recognize while surfing — technique, timing, positioning, movement, and decision-making — then turn those observations into clear objectives you can work on in the water.
Every surfer is different, so every progression has its own path. The goal is not simply to tell you what to change. It is to help you understand why, give you the tools to work on it, and build those improvements into your surfing over time.

We look closely at your surfing, identify the areas with the greatest potential for progression, and create a training direction around them. Sessions, footage, feedback, and objectives work together as part of one continuous process.
